How to set up a dedicated computer?

Here you will find instructions on how to set up a computer as a dedicated computer running our products without user interaction with the best configuration. Read more here.

 

How is ShowPoint working?

ShowPoint is typically installed on a client computer. With ShowPoint running, you can select a folder that is a shared folder on a server computer or file server. Once set ShowPoint will continuously monitor that folder for file updates. Once a file creation or update is detected, ShowPoint will copy the presentation locally and start the newly copied slide show.

From the server side you can update a presentation or create new ones and finally you will copy them to the shared ShowPoint folder on a server.

You can set up as many shared folders on a server as you want. Typically you will use a folder per viewing monitor or target group; e.g. marketing department.
