Setting PlanPoint options

Open a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and click PlanPoint > Settings in your Microsoft PowerPoint menu.

Date and time settings

On the PlanPoint settings form you can set PlanPoint settings for each slide individually in your presentation. First you enable or disable PlanPoint functionality for the current slide.

Specify when the slide should be displayed by setting the date range. Optionally you can choose to display the slide for a complete day in your date range, or to limit the visibility to a given time range only.

Next to the date and time constraints you can also select the days of the week when the slide should be visible in your given date range.

Jump immediately to this slide

Normally a slide show is displaying automatically all slides after each other. But with this option enabled the sequence of a running slide show will be interrupted by jumping to this slide whenever the date and time constraints are becoming active. Afterwards the slide show will continue with the next slide after this slide.

Start exactly otherwise skip

With this option you can specify that the current slide should be displayed completely from start time until stop time. Otherwise the slide show can ignore this slide.

This functionality can be used for starting slide shows. If a long running video is placed on the slide, it could happen that (because of the fresh start of the slide show) the video can not be shown completely within its time frame. By using this feature you instruct PlanPoint to ignore this slide because the video cannot be shown in full.
