Overview of DataPoint versions and new functionalities

Here you will find a list of recent modifications to the software. You will find the version number, release date and a description of the modifications. You can always download the latest version and install the setup over your existing installation.

Now you can insert dynamic charts in PowerPoint 2007 by using the Microsoft Graph object instead of using the objects that are using when you click Insert > Chart.

Data scrolling over multiple pages is now supported for offline presentations.

Due to compatibility problems with Microsoft Office 2007 we decided to change the internal DataPoint information in a PowerPoint presentation. As of now, presentations saved with version 1.1.500 and up are no longer downwards compatible with previous Microsoft PowerPoint versions 2000, 2002 and 2003. Once a presentation is saved with DataPoint version 1.1.500 (and up), all clients need to use the new DataPoint version.

Support for Vista operating system and Microsoft Office 2007. Presentations saved with Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and DataPoint version 1.1.400 and up are not downwards compatible with DataPoint versions before version 1.1.400. The compatibility for older versions of PowerPoint remains.
