How to link to a Microsoft Access database?

Start Microsoft PowerPoint. Click Slide show properties in the DataPoint menu and go to the Databases tab. Click the Add button to add a new database connection. Enter a new name and click Edit... to set the connection information. First you have to select the provider which is Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider (or version 3.51). Click Next and enter the location and name of the Microsoft Access database. Click OK to close. At the Stored data object frame select a table or query from your Microsoft Access query.
