Presenting

After designing dynamic presentation you can start running your dynamic slide shows. You can run a slide show on a monitor or you can distribute an offline presentation to others.

Introduction

You can now start the dynamic slide show. When the slide show is running, DataPoint will scan your data connections at the intervals specified to look for new information. As soon as new information is found, your slide content will be updated immediately.

 

Requirements

To run a DataPoint-enabled presentation you must have DataPoint Standard Edition or DataPoint Enterprise Edition installed. Also this computer and user should have to appropriate access rights to the data sources defined in the presentation.

 

Start via Microsoft PowerPoint

You can start Microsoft PowerPoint and open the desired presentation or just double click the file to open it. Then you can choose Slide show from the View menu or press F5 to launch the slide show.

 

Start via Windows Explorer

Browse to the presentation you want to run with Windows Explorer. Right click on the Microsoft PowerPoint file and choose Show from the popup menu.
