Presenting

After designing dynamic presentation you can start running your dynamic slide shows. You can run a slide show on a monitor or you can distribute an offline presentation to others.

Introduction

In larger environments you the option to create a dynamic Presentation with DataPoint Enterprise Edition. Whenever a presentation is created with this Enterprise Edition it can be viewed with the free DataPoint Viewer software.

 

Create the presentation

Just start your DataPoint Enterprise Edition and start creating your dynamic presentation as it is explained in this manual.

 

View the presentation

With DataPoint Viewer installed you can open any dynamic DataPoint presentation created with the Enterprise Edition. The Viewer software will refresh automatically the dynamic content when you open the presentation. During the running of the slide show, the dynamic content will not be refreshed anymore. In case you want to refresh the data here continuously, you will need to install DataPoint Standard Edition.

This type of technology is typically interested when running reports or statistical documents that need to be up-to-date but not continuously refresh like a live monitor.
